vroom tire dressing anyone?

well i tried it today. applied real good and left a pretty high sheen. almost like dupont teflon tire shine. id say the durability is good because after i applied it to my tires and body trim i drove it thru some serious rain, and when all dried, it was still rich black and the trim didnt streak or bleed. id say for all of u who are out at target and dont have nothing to do with 5 bucks to give it a try.

From what I could gather it's pretty close to a re-badged Armor-All. I'd like to try it, maybe the next time I'm at Target.

Everytime i goto a walmart i got the auto section in hopes of finding more MF towels from Vroom. But the section is usually been ravaged through and there's nothing left. 3 stores all wiped out of vroom. Must be some good stuff.

nope! i have armor all and use it quite frequently depending on wha mhy mood is and wha shine i want that day. but the finish this product left was no armorall. had a higher sheen and darkness to it. armor all give a lower sheen with a like new, un dressed appearance.

Vroom I thought was only available at Target?

You are correct sir! Not Walmart.

I am currently liking the durability from the Dupont Teflon tire shine. It is holding up well thru 2 weeks of wet weather. Nice new tire look and no bling-bling shine.

Maybe the new, higer shine Armor-All? Whatever it is I'll have to try some.

Wow! What a find this stuff is! (Dupont Teflon Tire Shine) I bought a bottle at WalMart when on a cross country trip a few weeks ago. After I applied it I spent the next ten days traveling putting roughly 2400 miles on. I was amazed to see those tires keep a beautiful rich black look, a dull sheen that (as you said) didn't screem with bling-bling. Very nice. Held up through a variety of weather and temperatures. Now I am back home for a week and they still look great, even after a car wash!

Big problem though. I cannot find this product locally! Arrrghh!!

Can anyone tell me where I can get this product? Thx.

duponts dressing is very nice.

apply it with a applicator and buff off and it gives a nice matte look.

apply with an applicator and let dry and the shines ups a few notches

or u can spray it directly on using the convenient sprayer that drastically lowers down the overspray and lets u apply evenly.

hands down to dupont

ive used this vroom dressing for a couple of weeks now. its my non-scientific observation that the dressing quickly evaporates after 24 hrs. when first applied and let to dry it give a high sheen look. after 24 hours in the garage with no driving i notice the tires a very matte balck but that sheen is no longer there.
