I was wondering about the appropriateness of using Z2 on my Volvo's black plastic trim. It's not exactly smooth and is also porous. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Thanks in advance for any help provided.

If you're talking about door edge trim and bumper trim, its best to use a dressing like 303 or Vinylex on it. You don't want any polish type product to get into the textured plastic pieces, otherwise you'll spend a lifetime trying to remove the residue.
