Had an oil leak fixed on the Volvo And gave it a good cleaning

Used: Gunk Engine Bright with a 2 stage spray, press down a little and you get cleaner/degreaser, press all the way down and you get the protectant. It was pretty easy to use and cleaned really well and left a great shine but the smell is still around after 3 days.

Here's the before picture

roscoe54,

I'm a big fan of the gutsy 850 GLT. We have a '96 we bought new and it now has 150K miles. :up One of the nicer paint jobs of any vehicle I've owned save a '65 Galaxy 500 convertible, black.

I've never seen the Gunk product you mentioned. It looks like it worked out well for you though. Sounds like an odd delivery system though.

Nice work.

I picked up some of the EB at AutoZone, but haven't used it yet. Roscoe, did you remove any of the covers, or just spray the entire bay?

I also read that the EB can ruin some asphalt -- did you notice anything where you did yours?

What was your process?

Tried the EB yesterday, worked great, though as has been mentioned, the odor lingers for a while. I have some plain-old CD-2 engine detailer that I might try sometime, but for the price, EB is well worth it.
