Hey all,
I am planning to detail the Mustang this weekend and am trying to decide which of the above combos to go with. This is my first time with any of these products.
I divided the hood in half and applied both and so far here are my impressions.
VM x2 - very easy to use, wipes on and off very easily. It is awesome on the plastic trim. Left the paint very glossy. Will have to do a side by side with VM, #7 and #81 and see how they look some time.
EX-P x2 - Love the smell
Went on and wiped off with ease. The combo of VM/EX-P at first glance does seem to be more glossy than Klasse. It is 11 PM here though so I will have to make sure when I get it out in the sun in the morning.
AIO x2 - also very easy, wipes on and off very easily. It left the paint very slick. I almost felt like I could stop there. I was very impressed.
SG x2 - Have to remember not to let it dry too long before wiping it off. How long should I let it haze before wiping? I left it on about 15 minutes. I put it on very thin yet it was still a bear to remove. Does wiping it off sooner affect durability? Any application and removal tips for SG would be greatly appreciated.
Not sure about the weather tomorrow. If we get any sun I will try and post a pic of the hood. Right now I am leaning towards VM/EX-P but, I will wait 'till morning to see both sides in the sun.
Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
