Well, it was a long and tiring two days, but overall I was pretty pleased with everything.
Day 1
First up was a ’99 Dodge Viper ACR w/ 30,000 miles. He wanted a good clean-up and something that would last. This was the first Viper I’ve done. It was pretty easy to work with and on, but the water liked to drip forever from the front of the doors. The wheels were also a pain, but they came out pretty nice.
Next up was ’93 Mustang GT 5.0 w/ 32,000 miles. This thing is mint – probably the nicest I’ve ever come across. He, too, just wanted a good cleaning and something that would last. The sun was going down fast when I was taking pics of the next two.
I picked this one up at the last second when I was washing the Mustang. He just wanted an exterior wash, but it looked like this thing had been sitting in a dirt field.
Exterior
-Simple Green 1:3 wheels/tires/wells
-Zaino Z7 wash
-Zaino Z6
-Zaino Z16 on tires.
Day 2
This day started out quite cold (35 degree windchill), completely overcast, and 30 mph winds. This truck is a daily driver / winter vehicle. It was suffering from a good bit of oxidation, etc. I didn’t step in too hard, but gave it a light overhaul and some good protection.
And to finish it all off, I did this GN which is capable of 10s down the 1320’. Similar to the S-10 and Mustang, he wanted a good clean-up and lasting protection.
Stellar work throughout but the trophy goes to the viper. I threw out a few expletives and an "im spent" when I saw the first few pics. Always a treat to see your work.
The Viper is just stellar! Questions on the white Stang and Zaino. I'm just about to try Zaino and I was told Z2pro for whites. I was just curious how the Z5pro turned out. How did you like Z5pro on white? Did the Z5pro make it more wet looking? What about concerns on muting? Thanks!
