Has anyone had experience with either of these products. I am

trying to determine which is better for cleaning and protecting the

leatherette and plastic dashboard in my VW Jetta.

Thanks,

Craig

The only 2 protectants that I have ever used - both are excellent products - 303 will give a less shiny look so I like 303 more

Completely agree with tdekany...I have both and they are both excellent but I give the nod to 303. The matte look is better.

Personally, I use 303 on the inside of the car (because I hate the sun bouncing off of the dash, etc). On the outside, I tend to use Vinylex or NXT. All great products.

I wasn't aware that 303 cleaned; I thought it just protected.

I liked Vinylex on my Lexus, but prefer 303 on my rhinoskin dash in my Audi.

Vinylex does clean. Aerospace 303 has UV protection. I also like how you can use it on leather, whereas you can't with Vinylex.

Vinylex has a medium sheen, Aerospace 303 has very low sheen. I have bottles of both 'cause I like having options.

I didn't like Vinylex. Streaked on plastic and looked greasy. I use 303 and Megs #40 and like them much better than Vinylex.

I just switched to 303 from Vinylex because the 303 was closer to a matte finish than the Vinylex. I also noticed that 303 left a more even finish and the appearance overall was better than Vinylex. I'm using the remaining supply of Vinylex for the tires.

In addition to using on my interior vinyl, I've used VINYLEX to remove polish spatter from exterior rubber and hard plastic. I have found it will last 6 month or so in Houston heat and humidity - normally 90+ degrees and 80+ humidity from beginning of May through end of September, with my vehicle living outside 7 x 24 x 365
