Vinyl Protectant and Airbags

I have read before that you should not apply a vinyl protectant to airbags. I have purchased a new car, has 2 airbags. I have applied 303 around them but I cant remeber a reason why i shouldnt apply it on the passenger airbag. I was very tempted to.



So what harm can protectant do to airbags?

I've never heard anything like this before. You can dress the covers on the airbags. It is just like the rest of the dash.



I don't think you want to pry the covers off to dres the airbag though
