I just bought some viking mint green carbon fiber towels They work very well are their any other good ones drop a line and let me know

If you are referring to the Viper Detailing Cloths from CMA, then yes, they are fantastic. As far as other great quality micro fiber towels any of them that CMA carries, or you can check YoSteve.com and Tacscar. All are top notch.

I believe he is referring to the Viking MFs that you can find locally at AutoZone or similar stores. I bought a pack as well, comes with a very small blue and green MF rag with almost no plushness or nap. Well, to be perfectly honest, they suck on the paint. Swirl and scratch city.... Luckily a coat or two of Z5 takes care of it, but it's still unacceptable performance IMO.

So, mine have been relegated to do interior and glass duty from now on and NEVER on the paint.

I saw these Viking MF towels at Autozone. They have little plushness, depth, or nap to them. I haven't tried them, but they might suffice for the interior or wheels. There are certainly much better towels on the market.

Autozone carries Turtle Wax brand MF, and they aren't that bad for the price. They are probably a little below the neatitems ones. These are the ones Guess My Name reviewed a little while back. I agree with his review, I'd give them a :up

Hi All,

I too saw the Viking micro fiber towels at my local K-mart and it is inferior to other micro fiber towels I bought and used. The Viking micro fiber towels looks like it will be okay for interiors and wheels. Would not recommend it for painted surfaces. Like many have said, you get what you paid for. I would have to pass on the Viking line of micro fiber towels. No plushness or nap to them at all.

Aloha,

I picked up quite a few of the Vikings when a local grocery store had a bunch of them very cheap. I don't use them on paint, but they're great for grunt work (door jambs, engine bay, interior, wheels, etc.).
