videos

After the recent zymol detail video i have fallen in love with watching detailing lol. yes i have watched that one literally over 20 times. I love to watch detailing videos and critique and learn and just have fun with them.
I have been looking around the net for move videos and all i have found is that one, the adams ones, and the megs ones. I though that there are more out there like me that like to watch the movies.
So here is a thread to post any videos you have found on the net and share them with DC. Also i think this would be a good place to post videos you have made yourself. I know this summer i plan on making one for dc to have my skills re-examined. So hopefully soon enough will have some cool videos to watch

I just bought the video from showcargarage.com. Mike Philips from Meguiar's put this video together and it's pretty good IMO. I didn't really pick up very many tips from it, but I like to think I know what I'm doing to some degree already. It was a little pricey IMO at $30, but I think it would be a great purchase for a newbie.

The cherry Bubbles from AM looks to be good. 2 oz to 5 gallons when other soaps suggest 4 oz.Calgary do you have any of the cherry bubbles from AM.

i dont no but im very very tempted to buy some. actually those videos look good that may be my next order. The only problems is we cant put soap down the sewers in this city so i stick with my qew and no rinse wash

The cherry bubble is geared towards tunnle washes. You can dilute it up to 300:1. It only comes in 5 gallon buckets by the way. Which should be around 50-60ish bucks. We tried some out at my old job. We used it in buckets and in our tunnel wash that we used for rentals and stuff. It is some good stuff, long lasting suds, good slickness, and cleaning capabilities.

If you want to try one of their soaps, try the wash and wax concentrate. Its what i use, its cheap and just as good as any of the boutiqe soaps. You can order a 16oz bottle off their site for 6.44.

TD, if one would use a sealant as a LSP would their be an issue using a soap/shampoo that contains wax and then adding another layer of sealant?

Thats a good question. I'm sure there would be some issues with bonding. I wouldn't use it if your the type to add a coat of sealent or wax after every wash.
