I cleaned my car at the coin operated car wash drying it with Walmarts microfiber plush kitchen towels. I found what could be described as vertical marks or slanted lines about 2 inches in length. These small scratch's or marring i don't know the difference, are now prevalent on the side of the car quarter panels. Swirls on the hood are there too. My car is black and around 6 years old. When i bought it 6 months ago it was clean. I was carefull in driving it in snow and rain this winter (stored it in when snow or rain fell). The car still has a nice polish and shine it beads water pretty good. I added Megs #26 on it after finding the scratch's.
My question is could it be the microfiber plush towels when drying the car at the coin operated wash?
In the summer i used a blower to dry my car and some 100% cotton towels.
If I'm wrong could it be the polish and wax has diminished and now i see what my car really looks like.
So should i wait till spring and wash it with Dawn and then go with a PC with Z5 and then Megs glaze #9 or #7 top it with Megs #26.
After that i should say Hey! my car is 6 going on 7years and hope that is the best i can do.
