Velcro yellow CMA pad

Well I was helping out my friend detail his car with my 7424 and he is like the velcro ripped out from the pad. The velcro probally ripped 1/4 out. I was thinking about stitching it back on. Anyone ever have this problem with the velcro ripping off from the pad?
 
I used it on 3 cars. It was real hot and humid that day too. So that might of been the reason and I rinse it out and squeeze it when it gets caked.
