Well i bought my new baby this weekend. Its a 93 Nissan 240 sx (S13). it has 107K on it and i picked her up for 2800 bucks from an older guy that bought it for commuting. I am very happy with it. Lots of potential. Here are some pics of my first few hours with her:). Of course it was night time, but that doesn't stop an autopian from detailing their new car!

Just kidding. A great car in great condition with near-limitless potential. Time to start saving up for that RB25DET conversion!
 
thanks for compliments guys.. sorry the pics aren't very good. i will be pic whoring like no other now so don't worry, you will see many more shots of this car, and i promise i will include some good sun shots. The girl in the background is my gf, and she knows better than to post on the hood:). Near future plans include LSD!!!, a nice drop, and some 17's (at least two for the front, the back wheels and tires are going to get trashed anyway:)). As far as farther future plans, they include SR20DET (not the RB25 because much more aftermarket for the SR), better window tint, and probably the Silvia front end because, if you are sporting an SR, how can you not sport the slivia front?? am i right??:) thanks again guys for all the nice compliments. again, sorry the pics aren't the best but like i said, many more to come.

Are you planning on the red top or black top SR20?



Make sure you stuff the Silvia front end with the biggest, shiniest FMIC you can find :D

no offense take and i certainly wasn't trying to throw a tantrum BUT everytime i make a post with a girl in it, it seems as tho my work is completely overlooked. ya know? sorry to be an ******* about it. I am planning on the red top but its going to be awhile before that ever comes. and my FMIC might be coated black... kinda depends on my mood and where my car will be most of the time.

Black on the FMIC would look pretty cool. Since you're going with a Silvia front end eventually anyway, it won't do much for the "sleeper" look.





I'm guessing you're going drift set up?

Its also a good thing that you gave all of that dirt stuck to the car a new home... lol
 
Drifting is one big factor in me purchasing this car. The car is a great buy though overall. 107K and nothing wrong with it except the dimmer switch. A black front mount would be for the more "stealth" look but once if i do a silvia conversion, then my cover would be blown anyway. If i swap the SR in before i do the silvia front, then i will probably run the stock side mount with an intercooler spray to try and stay more "undercover." oh well, the Sr and silvia front will be long down the road anyway... but i can always dream:). i just really want an lsd, springs/struts, some beefy sway bars, and some wheels. i should have all that with in the next couple months and combine those with the DOHC ka, it will be more than capable of doing some awesome drifting. I am glad i will be able to put some good miles on this car before the engine will go, that will give me good drift practice before i jump up to the much more powerfull and fun SR.

Vernon, I dont care if the girl is in the pic or not, just post some daylight pics, those night time one's dont cut it man.. You show up better than the car?:D



Edit: After going back and looking at the "day" shot with her in it, she doesnt look very happy because you are takin pictures of the car and NOT her:nono :nono
