Wash with Dawn, to strip off wax

Meguiar's SwirlX, Meguiar's W8006 foam polishing pad, Meguiar's G110 D/A @ speed 5

ONR diluted 1:64 - Quick Detailer

Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax

Meguiar's Hot Rims All-Wheel Cleaner

Meguiar's NXT Insane Shine Tire Spray

Simple Green diluted 1:1 for engine bay and wheelwells

WD-40 to dress engine bay and wheelwells

Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant for interior and exterior trim

Meguiar's Gold Class Leather cleaner/conditioner

Meguiar's Marine All-Metal Polish

Before, very minor swirling and random scratches...

After ONR wash, after claybar, I had to strip off the wax that was still on there... so, out came the Dawn.

Taped up for surgery...

And, after it's all said and done, here it is, in the driveway...

7.0L, and 505HP of AWESOME:

Overall, the car was in fantastic shape to begin with, and the owner babies it religiously. He just wanted me to make the paint shine like lip gloss.

Just a quick quesiton.. why the ONR, Claybar THEN wash? Why not just Aggressive Wash, clay, dry, polish?

I washed it with ONR when he dropped it off on Wed. night, then parked it in the garage overnight. I claybarred it Thurs. morning, and even afterwards, the wax on it was still very prominent. I decided to just bite the bullet, and Dawn the whole thing. Saved me quite a bit of time, actually.
