Vanilla moose vs Meguiars 81 hand polish

Which one do you guys think works better of these two products, as in, which one gives a better deep look on the paint before waxing? I have some Megs 81, and I'm considering purchasing vanilla moose. But, if they both work well, then I don't have to buy yet another product, as my bank account can't take much more frivolous spending... :nomore:

I haven't used the Vanilla Moose Vanilla Moose Wax-Hand Glaze but the information on it makes it read like it's a cleaner/wax?

Maybe someone else will chime in and clarify?

M81 Hand Polish is a non-abrasive, body shop safe polish or glaze. It has no protection characteristics like a wax.

I think Clearkote's cleaner wax is their Moose Wax (not Carnauba Moose Wax). Vanilla Moose I believe is a glaze with very light abraisives in it.

Vanilla Moose does have wax in it but its primary function is a gloss enhancer. Both #81 and VM look really good, but VM is a lot easier to use. If you want the best glaze that Clearkote has, go with Red Machine Glaze.

Doesn't VM have some very light abrasives in it? Isn't that the idea of mixxing Red Machine Glaze and Vanilla Moose is that you have a great glaze with the ability to burnish the paint.

Emphasis on light, but yes, VM does have some abrasive qualities.

Indeed. VM is one of my favorite products. I think you will be quite happy with the results. It adds a ton of gloss, in my experiences with it.
