Vanilla Moose or #9 for pre Zaino treatment?

I am already using Zaino and like it a lot. I have recently noticed some very fine scratches on the surface of my car. Which polish do you suggest for my pre Zaino treatment. This will be done by hand. Scottwax, do you get good results from VM? Should I wash with Dawn or Z6 after the polish to remove the oils? Zaino will not bond to the oils in the polish.

Vanilla Moose has some protective properties, so you will definitely need to Dawn wash before using any Zaino's products. I don't know how washing with Dawn will affect the use of Vanilla Moose or #9 since I've never washed a car with Dawn.
