do you guys just purchase them online or is there a place in vancouver that sell sonus polishing pads???

Sonus is Autopia's house brand. You won't find Sonus products in any retail outlet - just online. I haven't seen the Sonus pad anywhere else but autopia-carcare, but you may be able to find decent pads from Meguairs around town.

The only 3M pads I'm familar with are for a rotary, never tried them on my PC.

Since 3M is is under the minimum word length of 3, you need to add a *, so try searching for 3m* and you'll get some hits.

If you can't find any Meg's pads locally and you have to order try Excel Detail, he has very good prices on Propel pads:

ah ok ok do the 6 inch pads have a cookie cutting problem?

If you are talking about the Propel pads from Excel Detail, then no, they do not have that problem..... but you do need to use a 5" backing plate with them.

no the pads by lake country...please bare with me im getting really confused by all the names and trying to get a grasp of the names from their website right now...

Yes, PC pads have gotten a bit confusing with all the new styles, sizes, and colors.

I don't know about the pads you're asking about. All I know is that some people have had the "cookie cutting" problem with the older style of 6.5" LC pad. The old style Velcro was about 12.5cm in diameter and the new style is 15.5cm. If you're using a 6.5"/6" pad you should be using a 5" backing plate. HTH
