ValuGard Fast Finish?

Is this a QD or spray wax? I am confused by the website. I know several members use it, and the price is attractive, so I am looking for some more information on this product.

Thanks.

I used to spray it on a wet car and that was it! Not sure how much protection is there...Ketch can chime in.

I have some 18oz bottles if interested...a bit old, but never opened. Need to reduce products here so just pay shipping and maybe $2 for handling.

The product does a lot.

It is a great drying aid, leaving some protection and gloss when used that way.

I often use it as a "dry wash" or "instant detailer" when my vehicles are just a bit dusty.

Other times, I will wash and dry, and then apply the Fast Finish to the whole vehicle. (note-when used as a "drying aide", less of the active polymers are left on the surface, so it doesn't last as long as when applied to a dry vehicle.)

Gives a nice gloss and holds up for 30 to 60 days.

I use it on not only the paint, but the chrome, all black exterior trim. Last about as long on the trim as the paint surface.

About the only thing it is not good for are the tires.

I haven't "dressed" my trim on any of my three vehicles with a "dressing" since the Fast Finish came out.

I just got a sample of this and tried it for the first time the other day. Used it after waxing, when wiping down to spray into crevices and spots my wax on the PC didnt reach. It Actually helps removing the waxresidue (collinite 845 btw) too which was nice, and without removing all the wax.

I'll keep trying it and use as a drying aid next. Not sure if I'll do as my only LSP like it sounds like Ron does? But it seems like a good product and yes the price is right for the gallon sizes.

I have three unopened bottles. If someone wants, just send me $ for the postage and $2 for packing. That's it. IF you want all three, that's easier since I'll do a med. flat rate box.

Trying to reduce amount of products on shelves without charging for the product..just a nice guy! :)

I have 3 gallons of OMNI ALL PURPOSE from ValuGaurd. This is very good stuff, just do not need that much..it's concentrated! Same deal.

Ron- Are they still doing ValuView? I put that on my window all last weekend-- rained 3 days in a row and never turned on wipers. Great upsell to customers and the packaging is perfect for customers- doesn't look like something they can just get at Home Depot. I have about 3 left.

Don't know, have you checked the store on the website?

I really don't keep up on most things there, since retiring.

Much as I *LOVE* it on exterior trim, in the engine compartment, in wheel wells, and on the undercarriage, it just doesn't give me the "pop" that some of my other leaves-stuff-behind QDs do :nixweiss Not intended as a slam, and I sure do use a lot of the stuff, but it just doesn't do it for me on paint.

Can't believe nobody's taken WCD up on that offer!?!

I am in Santa Barbara, CA so the easiest shipping is flat rate medium box. That said, it will be 10.85 with my discount. I won't do USPS reg. shipping for any liquid and my FedX account would be about the same to a residence with the added residence and fuel charge. So...

best advice is to get the product free, but add something if it's worth it to you.

The box will have room for more...hate to pay shipping for one item when adding other things won't be any more money.

Thoughts?

lawrencea...want to have two bottles shipped together and we can meet up? I live near Joliet, right off of 55. Lemme know

I could do all three and you guys could split that. Just don't want to make one bottle cost more than it should due to shipping.

Don't be surprised if this guy ends up bailing on you. He was hot to trot to buy some stuff from me, exchanged several emails, seven to be exact, when it came time to pay... NADA and then he couldn't even be bothered to respond.

Thanks Dan. Maybe we should have spoken first, as I had my sister diagnosed with cancer during that whole thing. I'll take some flack for not explaining that, but this forum wasn't a priority when I was faced with something serious like that. I realize it was a bit of a slap, but don't treat me like a criminal who wanted something from you, got the product, and didn't pay.

Really appreciate being called out...get the facts first.

Lawrencea...if you want to do this, PM me. I'll give you my number and we can work something out.

Oh I gave you plenty of time to respond, I followed up as well.

2/15: You state you want the products, we exchange lots of PMs

....

2/17: You send: I'll shoot it (payment) over in the morning!

2/18 you are hanging out at Autoparts stores looking at products: http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-de...armor-all-extreme-shield-wax.html#post1485931

Plenty of posts the week after that.

You could have just said you didn't want the stuff. Get the facts first? What facts, did you tell me any facts?

I never said you were a criminal, just a flake. Get the facts right.
