UV protection and wax for my paint.

I did a search, but could not find any specific answers in the few threads I looked in, but is there a UV protectant scale on any waxs/glazes? If not, is there a "best" product out there for that as I live in FLA heat. Also, I have seen some posts on best waxes for different paints, I have a canteen green Nissan, if anyone has done this color, what did, would have you used? I just purchased Klasse AIO, SG and S100, should that be good for this color and for UV protection?

Hello,

Optimum spray wax is, I believe, the only wax with UV absorbers. The same that are in your clear coat are formulated in this wax.

Many people claim that carnauba in its natural state has UV protection but this is incorrect. It must be added.

Jeffs Werkstatt Prime (Carlack's new version of AIO) is supposed to inhibit UV. According to them anyway. Some quotes form Werkstatt:

"Most importantly, this base layer of Prime is proven to reflect the majority of UV radiation...The Federal Agency of Materials Research, Berlin has been doing research into paint degradation and has determined UV radiation as the overwhelming cause of paint oxidation, aging, and failure. CarLack has been focused on researching UV absorbers and inhibitors for years, and Prime is the latest result of that research."

I know a lot of manufacturers claim UV resistance, but I'm not sure which ones actually have them. I believe Zaino does, but does it really have UV protection?

on their web site states that their Poly Wipe #2180 Sealant and Conditioner contains UV inhibitors.

Can an MSDS sheet prove these claims?

I am very skeptical about the UV protection claims manufacturer's make. It is one thing to put UV inhibitors in a wax/sealant but, is there any evidence that the end result actually inhibits UV rays?

I suppose I could smear one arm with a wax, and leave the other exposed for an hour in the sun and see if I get burned on both arms or just one.... Anyone want to send me some samples to 'test'?
