Using Zaino Z5 with Z2 Pro

Quick question.

If I'm going to detail my son's Eclipse using Z5 with ZFX , when I go to apply Z2 Pro...do I need to mix it with ZFX as well?



Also does Z8 replace Z6?

You'll need to use ZFX for multiple coats. Z8 is a spray sealant, not a cleaner. Z-6 is a cleaner plus gloss enhancer. Z8 is great for a very clean car or feshly detailed, washed. Z-6 works nice with some dusting or water spots.
 
If you apply 2 coats of Z5/ZFX you can top with 1 coat of Z2-PRO without ZFX.

If you apply only one coat of Z5/ZFX you can apply one coat of Z2-PRO without ZFX

If you apply only one coat of Z5/ZFX and plan on two coats of Z2-PRO you will need to mix the ZFX with the Z2-PRO

If you plan on 3 coats of Z5/ZFX on day 1. Day 2 can accept one coat of Z2-PRO without using ZFX.

If Day 2 has plans for 2-3 coats of Z2-PRO. ZFX must be mixed.

After your initial coats with Zfx, you can add up to five layers without zfx, before you must use it(or Z1) again.

ZFX offers instant "curing" which allows one to apply up to 3 distinct coats in a day. ZFX also allows you to skip the Z1 step which is required for non-ZFX enhanced polish to bond maximally to the vehicle's finish (initial coats).

What would happen if i were to put ZFX in my UPP?



UPP takes a long time to set in this humidity...
 
So do I understand the website correctly...if you mix ZFX and Z-2 in one of the vials that after 12 hours the polish is no longer any good? I have had a bottle that I mixed weeks ago that I have been using up to now. Are you only supposed to mix what you will use and toss the left over?

Yep, that's how it works. You have to estimate how much you need for just THAT detail. Your mix is way past expiration. Sorry.
 
For a f-150 i applied 3x with 3/4 oz.



If i were to fill the whole little bottle, i could Z2 my whole neighborhood.
 
TheZFX kit contains (4) 4 oz. bottles. When using ZFX, try adding about a 1/4 bottle (1 ounce) of Z5/Z2 Pro with 3-4 drops of ZFX.

Those are 2 oz. bottles in the ZFX kit.
