using the edge of the pad on PC

Hi, i know you should keep the pad level an flush with the surface but can it be tilted to get more pressure on the outter edge of the pad to get up closer to trimming etc?? thx

It can and I do it, frequently. I just advise that you excersie caution when doing so and make sure that you have your trim taped off and make sure that you have product on the edge so you are not buffing with just the pad. Becareful though, typically the edges are where the clearcoat is the thinnest.

With the PC, you can use the edge as long as you're not using some unusually harsh product and/or doing it all the time. It's not like a rotary where such methods can quickly get you in trouble.
