Using ONR to strip protection?

Tomorrow I'll be starting a full detail with paint correction on my 1995 Lexus SC300 in Renaissance Red..and I was wondering if I could use a strong enough dilution of ONR to strip my paint of all the protection that's on it now.

but... the paint correction will take care of it

Actually, no.



The ONR will actually *add* some protection to the surface, but you can use a little stronger dilution to make a clay lube and that way you can really take everything out

No its a strong soap/shampoo solution you`d need if that was the way you wanted the protection removed.
