Using LC Orange/White Pads&Makita Rotary?

I recently bought a new 9227 Makita Rotary and have two brand new bottles of Menzerna IP and FP and would like to know if I can use the orange and white pads that I may already have laying around? I used this combo with good success on my old PC but not sure if I can still use this combo with the new rotary?
