Using garment leather products in autos?

I have some garment leather conditioner from wilsons leather for use on jackets, shoes, bags etc.. Will this have any negative effect for use on modern leather interiors?? :dunno coated etc

Also, Has anyone ever tried using auto leather conditioners for leather garments

Just a thought as i was applying some on my leather jacket last night
and wondered if i could try this out in the car

I dunno. But I did see a local shoe store or "cobbler" by me (I'm in Denver) selling Lexol protectant and cleaner :dunno The only thing that I could think of that my be an issue is the dyes or the way it is treated. Will be interested to hear what others have to say.
 
I have used Leatherique on my tumbled leather wallet and dress shoes to clean them up, works pretty nice. I know that Leatherique claims that their products can be used to clean/rejuvinate some household items as well as auto leather, so its probably worth giving it a shot. Just do it in an inconspicuous place and wait to see the results.
