Using Duragloss Tomorrow-Applications Questions

Tomorrow I am doing a detail on a brand new Chrysler Town and Country minivan-light blue metallic.

Questions on Duragloss line applications:

Polish Bonding Agent

#105

AW

1-Should I use a PC with a polishing pad or finishing pad for the #105? The directions say a cotton applicator pad. Or should I use a foam pad by hand or a MF applicator? What have you used?

2-I plan to top with Aquwax, and don't have time to wait for the #105 to cure longer than it takes to do the interior, will this be OK?

Thanks everyone~!

Apply by hand use a foam applicator or a cotton one if you prefer...use less product and also get complete coverage...they both go on very easy and come off as such.....I can apply both to my truck in 30 minutes...

you should be ok with AW after..I have used it to remove 105 aroung emblems and no problems..no smearing..or streaking...will look nice..

Thanks, Al. :hifive: I may also clay and use the Swirl Mark Remover after checking the paint condition prior to the bonding agent----I'll just check it and see if that's necessary. I'll use the PC on the SMR.

the SMR is a real lite product...not for heavy correction..better for lite marring tops....it works a long time..and will leave a nice glossy finish...I spread ot on 3-4.....work it on 5 and final pass on 6.....I misted the pad a little to prime it at first with a QD....

good luck
