Used this Car Wash Soap?

I was surfing the net and ran across this car wash soap..... Just wanted to see if anyone used it before and what did they think of it. Did it do as advertised? Spot free with no drying?

I think it runs about $7 for 35 oz. Or at least the site I was on had it for that.
Here is what it claims.....
* Save time with Rain-X Self Dry Car Wash by virtually eliminating the drying step!
* The patented technology makes the water sheet away allowing the car to dry itself without spotting or streaking.
* The rich foam of Rain-X Self Dry acts quickly to dissolve and lift off dirt and road grime, leaving your car with a brilliant shine.
* Rain-X Self Dry is formulated for all automotive paint finishes, including clearcoats.
* It will not strip or dull waxed surfaces.
* Made in USA.

I seen that Walgreens carries it, so I may go look for it and try it out...

Never heard of it/saw it before Tex. If/when you get some please give us a full report.:passout:

If it would help stop the spotting that occurs once the Texas sun comes out then I'll buy a bunch of it. It's frustrating having a vehicle spot before you can even get to it with a towel to dry it off. Please let us know if it works.

That is exactly why I asked. I am tired of rinsing a vehicle and running around it like a mad ape trying to dry it before the spots set in......and they do set in fast here......

I'll have to look at it also. I can get it for 50% off in the company store since Rain-X is owned by Pennzoil which is owned by Shell Oil for whom I work. Like stated, anything to help from getting the spotting.

During the warmer summer months (I'm sure they'll be here soon enough), I think we all chase those spots a bit. Once I started using either PB's S&W or Adam's DS as a drying aid, it seemed to help alot.

OT: TB is was 27 here this A.M. with light snow flurries. Predicting 23 tomorrow A.M. Water spotting would be the last thing to worry about. :)

Spot free without drying huh. Thought the only way to get a spot free finish was to use a di water system. IMO it seems like a gimick to sell to the masses.
