Used High endurance

I did a QD on my wifes Car today (Champagne colored 2000 Intrepid). This was the first time that I used Meguiars Endurance. I must say I love it :up . One coat makes the tire look great and it feels better. With a second coat you can see an even bigger difference. Add that to the plaesant grape smell it's a winner if I must say so.

I was just looking at that today. Was wondering about it,heard it was good but.... now I know going to get some on Monday.must wait for the snow to melt to put it on..If you have pictures I would love to see them..

As with any tire dressing, but especially with the Endurance High Gloss, I recommend buffing it off after letting the dressing dry for a while. I usually apply endurance to my tires and then go on to waxing my car. By the time I'm finished buffing off the wax and QD'ing (usually an hour), I buff off the tire dressing. This prevents the dressing from slinging onto the paint, which Endurance seems to do too much of.

I also love the smell of Endurance, I think it's the only artificial grape-smelling thing I like. :xyxthumbs

Did you use the black bottle or the clear bottle (high-gloss)?

The High Gloss is in the clear bottle and the Natural is in the black bottle. They both say on the bottle or box but they both have very similar lables.

I also find if you massage it in with the applicator you will get better results.

Is it ok to use this stuff on black plastic trim around the car?

Also, is it normal when the applicator turns very black when applying this stuff on the tires, or does that mean that the tires are very dirty?

On the black trim I like the Meguiar's Trim Detailer. As far as the applicator I do find it does turn black but the problem is less if you wash the tires prior to your application. I think it may have something to do with the stuff that the tire manufacture puts into the tires to keep them from cracking, not just dirt.

I like the shiny look on my T-Bird SC so I use the EO Wet Tire Gel.

When it comes to stuff that have a little more of a profile in the tire, I like more of a matte look. For this, I'll usually just use Meguiars Rubber/Vinyl Dressing and put 1 or 2 coats on the tire depending how it looks.

As for the applicator....I go to the loonie store and pick up 5 or 10 packs of sponges for about $2-3 and then cut them into what ever shape I need. I used to use the EO Tire Swipes, but I found they got way too filthy too fast and I didn't like the idea of throwing them out all the time.

i used the blk bottled as well today...still looks great. i have #40 as well for the matte areas...i use a tire app or a cheapo cotton app. i have found that the bottle top always get all gunky as well...so i bought a catsup bottle squirt bottle and filled it up.....now that workds even better!!!!

1. I used the black bottle. Wasn't aware of the high gloss. Need that in case people ask for "WET" tires.

2. I use meguiars vinyl cleaner for black trim. It has a Uv protectant in it, it stays almost wet looking without the "slimy" feel that those silicone based lubricants have.

3.One thing I noticed about the Endurance is after you let it stay on, the tire is soft to the feel, almost satin feeling. Much better than those silicone tire dressing that are the same as spraying "LIQUID VASELINE" on your tires.(for a lack of better terms).

Once again what a great product.:xyxthumbs
