Used fk's 1000P for the first time today!

Just one coat so far on top of several coats of AJ/AJT



I think it added some brightest. I finally found my LSP for silver!

I did my Jeep about 8 months ago with 1000p and it still beading very well. The gloss is still great. It can also be layered 3 coats in a day and then pw on top

NHB deff agree had a chance to see 1000p on atttics camry and was VERY impressed.

I use a foam applicator and damp with 425 to apply the 1000P. Let it set for 20 min then

buff off with a light mist of 425. This method seems more easy to apply thinner and with

the help of 425 the buffing is also very very easy.



But, will it affect the durable of 1000p with this way of application?

Technically, percentually, yes, but I think that real world results shouldn't change with that little amount of liquid.

Nice job! I know how you felt, as that is exactly how I felt after using 1000P for the first time. I just couldn't wait to put a 2nd and 3rd coat. I used to top my ride with PW 3x for a nice wet look. Now I just use 1000P as my paint is white and 1000P made it bright as compared to PW. Being a sealant, I've felt it stayed cleaner a bit longer than PW. Now I use AW after the wash every 2-3 weeks, until my next detail. My wife also noticed that the car appeared cleaner longer with AW.
