I have a 2012 Dodge Hennessey Challenger Yellowjacket with flat black graphics coming in soon and there are just a few 'chips' in the graphics; two black bars running down each side of the hood.
I had a similar situation on a Mini Cooper where I used either SEM or a similar product (available in gloss or matte), masked the hood and was able to make them look like new.
I'm going to Opti-Coat this beast and feel (hope, really) the coating will protect and prevent the vinyl paint from blistering or peeling.
Looking for some moral support and/or feedback.
Looks something like this, but not exactly. The bars are about 4 inches wide and run the full length of the hood.
