UPP Questions

Just got some UPP and have a few questions.

When it says on the bottle to wait 24 hours before the second layer is that for all subsequent layers?

Since it has no cleaning ability I’m thinking of putting it over AIO, any problem with a bond?

How about over a glaze?

Is there anything that does not go well over it as far as waxes are concerned?

I use- Zymol, Blitz, PS and Nattys.

Thanks

A little off your topic, but how do you like the Blitz wax? How easy is it to apply and remove? Have you tried it on metallic and dark cars and how did that turn out? How do you compare it to Nattys and PS?

Thanks :)

I put UPP on at the mimimum of 24 hours in between layers. There is no bonding problems with AIO. I've put UPP over Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze and I do not see any problems with it.

My take on UPP.

Yes, wait 24 hours between any UPP application for best results.

No, It works great with AIO.

Probably not a good idea over a glaze.

About any wax that is not a cleaner/wax should work over the UPP.

You might want to take a good look at your vehicle after the AIO/UPP. You might not feel the need to use anything more.

Paste wax (not a cleaner) is best over UPP - their are solvents in liquid waxes that may remove some UPP - yes wait 24 hours between coats so the first coat can cure - you can drive it - just be sure the surface is clean before applying the second and third coats - the concensus is 3 is the sweet spot for UPP
