UPP causes major damage to cars!!!

Very nearly, but not to mine though :lmfao

Today I was pulled over by the curb, outside an apartment that had a for rent sign - my girlfriend is looking for a place to live. We had gotten looks and stares a couple of times that day, thanks to the 2 coats of UPP I had just put on.

So along comes this guy on a low rider bicycle with those huge handlebars, and I see him in my rearview coming up the street checking out my car. As he rides along the car, he looks at my rims, and then up at the paint. He passes us, and without taking his eyes off the car, he locks his gaze on my hood, and actually rode for a few seconds with his head turned over his right shoulder.

I was feeling pretty proud of myself, but then realized he was about to crash into the car parked across from the intersection. I was about the honk, but he turned his head about 1 and half feet away from hitting the bumper, and swerved back onto the street.

I nearly laughed my socks off, but had to keep it down coz my girl was on the phone. She said she only saw him weaving to regain his balance - goddamn priceless...

haha :lmfao

props to Four Star and Dwayne =)

I must say that I'm guilty of doing the same thing. I'm a sucker for well maintained black cars.

Jcrawford - I washed with dawn dish soap, clayed with meg's quik clay, then I cleaned with Ultimate Paint Cleanser. Last was the 2 coats of UPP (applied 10 hours apart - not 24 coz I just couldn't wait!)

Funny as hell man!!..................Top that UPP with a good paste carnuba wax and watch that shine pop a bit better.

Also I was told that if you can't walk away from your car and not look back, then sell it!

Glad you said that I park in areas that I can see the car, the one thing that I like the most is all the looks that my car gets

I suspect that I will die while looking over my sholder at some shiney car and walking into the path of an oncoming semi or something. :lmfao Great story!

Thanks for all the feedback, haven't been on the forum for a while now. The 14 hour work days might have something to do with it, *shrug*

Anyways, andriver - I love it. The suspension is very stiff, so it's not as smooth as driving the demo 330 at the dealership, but the plus is that it handles much more like a sedan than an SUV. The AWD also helps a lot =). I find myself cornering too hard on my friends' sedans because I'm so used to the X3.

UPP = (4 Star) Ultimate Paint Protection.
No worries, everyone's new at one point or another. Someone bump that acronyms post if they have it handy! =)
