UPGP on top of OS

Has anyone layered UPGP on top of OS? I tried it on a friends SUV the other day and I don't know how long its going to last. I figured since I'm layering a sealant on top of a sealant that it would be okay but I don't know how finiky UPGP is. I did notice however that it was beading up better with both layered than with just OS. It had started raining about 3-4 hours later and walked outside to check it out. Now since it didn't have time to cure I think my test will be ruined. So does anyone have any knowledge about this? Has someone done this? Thanks guys

I remember reading somewhere that one guy thought he was having good results with 2 coats of upgp 12hrs apart and then 2 coats of danase wet glaze and then one more of ultima. Is he wasting the DWG?

no. you can layer dwg with upgp in any order you want. for best durabiltity of dwg its best to put it under upgp. i do dwg x2 then upgp x3.

Revisiting this thread because I think I found out what would happen.

I washed it 2 weeks ago and there was NOTHING on the paint. The water just puddled, no beading anywhere just water sitting on top of the paint. I guess Shuskan3 was right. I wont be doing that again.

Edit: It might have had something to do with the light rain I had after I used the two. Not letting it cure, I don't know. I couldn't believe it though when I didn't see water falling right off of the paint

strange - sure I've used UPGP over OS in the past, and certainly have over wax, and not noticed any short term issues....
