So in an effort of trying to achieve more depth with sliver, I decided to give Natty's blue a try. I must say I'm quite satisfied.
Process was:
Polished and clayed 2 weeks ago
Clearkote RMG
UPP x 3
Natty's blue x1 (Will be doing a second coat tonight)
Tried to capture the flake, but I screwed up the focus. Still, gives you a good idea, UPP makes the flake pop!
What I learned: Apply Natty's THIN. Applied it too thick in a couple areas, but nothing a little Acrylic Spritz couldn't handle. The Sonus SFX hand applicators are a great way to apply Mothers FX tire shine. Silver is all about angles, one way looks great; deep and wet, the other merely clean. I guess it's just something I'll have to live with... Until I buy a darker colored car.
Products I want to try: The silver elise thread has inspired me, and after the next wash I'll hopefully use some OCW. Any application tips? Never used a spray wax before.
