So I finally got back out to the garage to work on the M - not driving it for a week has killed me!!
I went ahead and hit the hood with DACP. I can't get it to dust, but I got it to almost disappear - until it's barely there. Wiped down with a MF....not too shabby!!
The swirls are gone, but the finer scratches remain - but I'm ok with that.
I used a yellow pad, moved very slow, started at 4 on the PC, then upped to 5.5. or so and finished it off.
I have yet to attack it with the Menzerna, but I think a lot of my troubles were due to impatience and poor techniques.
I inspected it under my flourescents in my garage, under a flashlight and outside in low light - it's 6PM here, and it looks good!
At this rate - it will take me 20 hours to finish the car, but it will be worth it.
I'm excited :bounce
