Which LSP would you guys prefer on a metallic red? I really loved PS on my black car. I heard PS is also great on red paint but I don't know about metallics?

S100 is the same as P21S, both of which will hold up a little better than PS. You are right, PS is downright richeous on black. As far as metallics are concerned, I think most people tend to lean toward sealants, so I am thinking more along the lines of EX-P, SG, WG, etc. NXT might even be a good option.

I've been using and am really happy with AIO + Souveran on my dark metallic red F250. Souveran is noticeably better, i.e. richer than P21s in my experience.

I like Zaino myself, nothing shines like it. Then put s100 for depth and the wet look. S100 or P21s have a great cleaner that make Zaino pop.

P21S/S100 Wax does not have cleaners in it. If they did why would you want to top Zaino with a cleaner wax? It would just remove the Zaino.

S100 or p21s paint cleanser, then Zaino, then s100 or p21s wax. Thanks for clearing that up.

Well I wasn't really happy with the result i got from PS on my metallic paint. The paint looks rich and deep on certain angle but lack the glossiness that im looking for. So now I applied s100 on top and WOW it sparkles. The paint looks glossier and brighter. I guess PS are only formulated for dark solid colors.

There have been some recent discussions on Roadfly that seem to confirm that P21S and S100 are indeed different. There is supposedly a different chemical composition to each.

P21S is a fine wax and won the Guru Reports wax test. I find it is my best carnauba for metallic cars. It also looks very reflective on black cars, if not as liquid as Souveran.

Metalics really need that shine ya know? Some of those glossy sealants lack shine. Whatever you finished it with I'd try Zaino as you first coat.

I can tell you this about 2 years back I e mailed P21S back and fourth till they admided to me that the 2 were the same ....fast foward 2 years later the are NOT the same they were changed BUT with such little difference you really can't notice.I would go with PS every time NOT that P21S is bad its just that PS is a awesome product

Like i said before, I really love PS. It's a joy to use and gives an unbelievable depth on dark paints especially black but it just doesn't have that POP on metallic colors. I chose s100 over PS because the car looks glossier and shinier with it on.
