Ultra-Persistant Mud!

There is 6-month old mud caked onto my paint near the wheel wells. I have washed with car soap, scrubbed with a clearcoat-safe brush, used isopropyl alcohol wipes, and STILL the mud will not come off.



What is my next step? Will tar remover do the trick? How can I get rid of this mud without damaging my paint?!

doesn't sound like mud if it hasn't come off after all that...do you have pics? tar remover might do it...try Tarminator. pics would help though.

Sometimes I get some stuff that looks like mud, but as paradigm notes, requires tar remover or similar to get off. Not sure what it is.
