Ultra Gas Savings!!!

who is going to pay to clean my fuel injectors after the pill...maybe i can give my cars an enima afterwards:rolleyes:

How wonderful it would be if some of this crap actually worked. This one had me slap my forehead in a "not again" mode.

has anyone actually tried it? does it work? Also does the tornado work, i would love to get one but im not wasting 80 bucks if it dosent work. It is an as seen on tv and well ive had bad experinces with them (some work but most dont) any thoughts?

No, I haven't tried the pills or the tornado, but there used to be a website out there that debunked the tornado with some "scientific" testing, as well as MPG tests before & after. IIRC, It was an individual's website, so I couldn't tell you where it's at or anything, but I do remember reading it.

I think it would be safe to assume that the pills, as well as most of the other gimmicks out there for increasing MPG do not work.

I'm not sure about this product but the tornado is a waste. Popular Mechanics did a review of fuel "saving" products such as the tornado and they pretty much said none of it works and that you shouldn't waste your money.

speak of the devil, i was watching roport on buisiness tv. when they did a little thing on fuel savers, partuilarly the pill. It does not work, they said the testers (whatever thing i cant remeber) says they have yet to find one that works.

i actually saw that on the news this morning. They tried them out for a test, and didnt get any results good or bad. but said it was just a waste of money.

Hello all :howdy I'm a newbie around here and haven't introduced myself formally but couldn't resist chiming in on this one. My thoughts on this thing is that the "product" here really isn't the wonder pill that they are advertising. The real "product" is selling people on the business of selling the pill and as many suckers as they know into buying up a boat load of these things to try to go out and sell. It's just another pyramid scam like Amway and so forth IMO.

By the way, I've enjoyed reading this board for some time and have enjoyed soaking up the wealth of knowlege that resides here. I've slowly become infected with detailus megacompulsiveus and am preparing to do my first "official detail" of my 2002 Pontiac Grand AM GT (Ram air V6). I've recently purchase a PC and a basic kit of products etcetera. So, I'm sure you will all be hearing from me soon. I've started with the interior and engine bay (still waiting on CD2 detailer to arrive).

Welcome to the board!! Just so you know, a freshly detailed car averages around 2MPG better than a dirty one. They also idle smoother. :D

Many people have claimed putting pure acetone intot the gas tank have given them better mileage.

Yep, there's a couple of personal websites dedicated to that as well. There's also tons of contradictory evidence to refute the claims as well.
