Ok im a religious 1z user but I just ordered VM and EX and EX-P for my customers cars. I have a black vehicle with blue and red flakes in it and I was told that I would like the end result of VM and one of the poorboy products over my 1z. I know its all about oppinion but I was just wondering, if was to use VM what would I use before it out of my 1z line for swirl remover(pp or mp). Just curious what you guys thought before I tackle this new job. I figure 2 coats of the poorboys line followed by my souveran. Gota love new products:bounce

*I* would use judt the PP for swirl removal and then go to the Vm. I think VM would strip most of what the MP has to offer off the paint so in my eyes it would just be an extra step.

oh and you will like the VM :)

yea makes since, im going to use this on customers cars but it sounds like I might use it on my own as well.

IMO you'd be better off with the 1Z on the black w/ red/blue metallic. Nothing I've ever used (including VM) gives me the same metallic "pop" that I get from 1Z PP followed by MP or WPS. I'd even be leery of topping it with Souveran (which I *do* love on my XJS)...that paint sounds just *too nice* to mute with the "wrong" products. I'd try to really bring out the metallic effect.
