UDM question...

Ok, I know that the Rare UDM is becoming a historic item...but I enjoy using it...

Anyway...now my backing plate doesn't stay attached. I think im missing the c-clip. I know it has a one year warranty, but now if I send it back, they are going to send me a PC with a UDM sticker on it. I dont like the PC, at all very loud!

Does anyone know what the c-clip looks like or if I can replace it?

Any info would be appreciated...i might have to bite the bullet and get a flex...

I had to do it because my UDM warrenty expired. It is fairly easy to do it yourself, if you want to keep your UDM. What you need to get is called and 1/2" E-Clip (PN/#881399 - Hillman). I got the e-clip at Lowes.

If you have the dough then the Flex is a great choice. The G110 however is a great machine for the money. Mine was used last week on a Jag XKZ (will post later) and it did a very good job with the minor defects found newer vehicles.
