U Can't make this stuff up (a little detailing humor)

K, last night I go out the the garage b4 bed to put another light coat of TOL Black Velvet wax on the Audi.

I had washed the car Saturday and left it in the garage and drove the beater all weekend.

So anyway I wipe the panels down, apply some wax wipe it off (BV is a wipe on wipe off paste wax).

Well after awhile I started noticing white flakes on the horizontal panels (I'm like *** this is a Black Wax where are white flakes comming from).

I go into the house and get another MF and the same thing keeps happening. Now I close the garage door and even at 10:00 PM it's hotter than hell in there and I'm sweating my balls off. But the flakes keep coming. I change applicator pads, more flakes.

After a and hour or so of this I get the car done and jump inside (Black Leather interior) to get some papers. I just detailed it and here are those flakes again.

Finally I noticed that every time I moved my arms (beacause I had a tank top on) I would get these flakes.

Put too much Underarm Deordarant on after the shower :wall

Moral of the story is never detail a Black Car in a tank top after you use a white stick deordorant

Thats great, I would have freaked out just the same

I remember when my cousins got a new pool table in their basement they'd always complain about people's deordarant flaking off and getting on the table. I knew it was never me because I would always use Mitchum gel. :p

Thanks guys but I can assure you at the time it was anything but funny :) I can laugh about now though, after I stopped and brought me some "clear" deordorant on the way home from work.

hey, at least you don't have a neighbor's cat that loves the smell of scented carnauba jumping on your hood while appling LSPs or QDing. i have this cute little mommy cat that thinks my car is her bed. i find her sleeping on my hood scoop in the morning when i leave for work. and she licks the wax off my hood while i'm waxing. kinda annoying if you ask me. she's even got to jumping on my engine while i work under the hood. i've had to buy a spray bottle to squirt her while i work...poor thing. the amazing thing is that she never harms the paint. i've inspected my hood countless times because of her and never do i find marring...*knock on wood*

sorry for the hijack.

I was actually going to start a thread to see if anyone had ever changed deodorants because they flaked off in their interiors. I only wear "clear" deodorants now because of this. :o

I was also thinking of the ceiling flaking off as I was reading this though., LOL!!
