Typical Spring Around Here...

Rain and more rain. All during the week weather has been warm and sunny. Was able to get the yard in shape, everything is growing back after the nasty winter. This is the first spring maintaining this yard and its not been easy. You'll see the grass is slowly growing compared to the others. It was a weeded mess, a massive dose of killers/fertilizers have done the trick and is finally starting to spot out nice. Now we've had a couple inches of rain and my front yard is a muddy mess...

Yea this a whole lot better neighborhood than the old house...

Who else here is getting all this rain? They are talking about another 2-3"...

Nice hood. It was really raw here saturday. Cold/windy. Today is really nice. Sun all day. About 55-60. Usually here in PA, April is common for a lot of rain. I think spring is slowly moving to PA.

That looks like a peaceful neighborhood as well PA. There is only about a month of spring here before it goes full on summer like with 90-100*.

It is QUIET! :bigups Just two houses across the street, no one either side or behind. And one neighbor way down.

60's here today but a chilly wind. I was able to catch up on detailing, cleaned up the law mower, and worked on the yard.

Nice yards fellas. Mine is still soupy. Getting more rain tomorrow. Spent all day in church or my wife & I would have been outside. Soon enough. It has to get done or I can't go & play or detailing.

Thanks! Right now it's storming pretty good, bits of small hail mixed in, but I don't expect much. I believe it will be a mud pit come tomorrow.

I feel your pain, my dogs killed all the grass in my backyard so yesterday I laid some sod, the remaining I'm putting in a patio. Can't stand walking back there and sinking in mud

Real nice!. I have in-laws in Terry, MS

Thanks guys! We had about 3" of rain last night that did a number on my flower beds, but it's getting re-mulched anyways.

Late spring here. The trees are about 2 weeks behind and everything is starting to bloom now. Fescue looks nice and now need to mow again already.

beautiful ! are those dogwood trees?

Thanks! And you know I honestly don't know, I'm not up on my plants and tress. I know I screwed up and chopped the Iron plant here a couple weeks ago instead of in the fall. It may or may not come back this year.

EDIT: Talked to my neighbor they are dogwoods.
