Two Porsches and a Vette...

I'm in a rare mood to post so I thought i'd share some of the work myself and my shop have done over the past little while.

All three cars were full polish jobs for us, full meaning 2-step polish process not full defect removal, so you may still see imperfections.

Prep is always the same; Remove tar and road grime (two step chemical process), wash, clay.

Polishing process varies but on these cars was most likely (it's been awhile but this combo is what I usually use on cars in similar condition) rotary, white LC VC pad and Menzerna IP or FP followed by Makita BO6040, white LC VC pad and Menzerna FP. All three cars were topped with Menzerna FMJ.

Enough chit chat, on with the pics...

came out great! Hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm going to be doing my dads 911 in about a week as one of my first jobs with a PC and I'm wondering if there is a trick to polishing the engine cover trim (the vented flap in the back).

No tricks really, just do what you can with the machine then do the rest by hand with a small applicator pad. I like the little round yellow ones for tight spots.
