two bucket method

i have done searches and can not find and answer. what is the 2 bucket wash method? i have seen alot of people say that they do it but i am not sure how you do it. can someone please help me? thanks so much:thx
 
Basically you have two buckets. One with water and one with water and your car wash solution. Before you dip the sponge, wash mitt, whatever, into the solution you rinse it out in the water only bucket. Keeps your wash water cleaner.

since were on topic here .. my confusion was when and how often should you dip N rinse in fresh water ?



after every panel ?

At least. Really, there is not set instructions to this though. ;)
 
it would prob be safe to do after every panel



but dirtyness of the car would also have to take in effect
