Twisted Ankle

Tex Star Detail

Yesterday, I had a Big Fleet wash that I do every Thursday.
My helper and I were about half way through with the job, when I twisted my ankle. We were drying off that big International. I was on the top step, but thinking I was on the bottom step, when I decided to step down...... Wrong move...
I ended up twisting my ankle. I sat down for about 30 minutes while my helper finished up. Since we had a long day ahead of up, I decided to keep on working. My ankle was sore, but I had work to do. When I get home, the Wife wants to go to the store. We get there and walk around for about an hour and a half. My ankle was still sore, but not as sore as earlier. But this morning.....I am paying for it! Swollen up and can barely walk on it.
Now I am out a few jobs today.....

bummer....... It happens

we'll that $Ocks ...keep the foot up and ice the ankle:surrender

Yeah, definitely put some ice on it. 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off for an hour or two will help tremendously.

Sorry to hear that, Chris :(

Sounds like the RICE diet for you . . . Rest, Ice, Compression & Elevation.
But as audiboy said, don't leave the ice on non-stop (or apply directly to the skin) or you'll have frost-bite to add to your problems!!

Chris

Sorry to hear about that ice...keep the foot up....get one of those rubber ankle braces...I have a bad knee and once in a while when it acts up...use it for support

The one that I have I think is made by Bike...any sports store will have one

Chris, Now I now you don't like to take advice from me but this is one time you should listen. Go to your local ranch supply store and get a product called 3M Vet Wrap. There is a human medical product that is identical but costs 3 times as much. I've tried them all and this stuff works great. It's like taping your ankle but the wrap is something you can get wet, even shower in. You can wrap it tight but it still has a little give in it. The product only sticks to itself. No pulled hairs or other sticky tape problems. It runs about $3 per roll. And it's available in your favorite color, including yours, pink. :D

Troy still messing with your signature?
