i think EBPcivicsi has tried it out. if i can recall he liked it.

I tried the TWP paste. It's pretty decent. TW calls it a carnauba/aminofunctional silicone/fluoropolymer blend. It looks good, with lots of wetness and darkening. I don't care much for the smell; it's more herbal than tropical or natural. It goes on easy, wipes off easy; it's of the "apply, haze, remove" type. There is very little dusting. Although I didn't have any problems with trim whitening, I'd still recommend avoiding it (due to the polymers).

I don't think it's layerable; it's a mild cleaner/wax, of the type that would remove itself. It's about the same as Gold Class in that respect. I would think two coats for proper coverage, then after that you're wasting product.

There are lots better choices on the big-box shelves than there were this time last year. You could do a lot worse than picking up TW Platinum.

TW Platinum

I used the TW platinum and i thought it did give a very good shine but you need to let it dry good before removel it does have very bad dusting that i did not like but it gives a nice shine just dont know how long it lasts.

P.S. there Detail spray is VERY good Stuff to
it right up there with the Best sprays!
I have tryed them all.

Here's a Picture of my car with Turtle Wax Ultra.

I can't really make it out.... All I see is a black car in the shade. I'm not surprised at all that it reflects. ANY black car will reflect in the shade. That's not the product showing there. That is just black paint doing its thing in low light. Take it out in the sun so we can make out the details.

That's because Meguiar's doesn't necessarily market its best stuff to the average joe. They have excellent stuff marketed for professionals. They may not have 50 different waxes on the shelf for people, but that's not really what their specialty is in. I think Meguiar's sets the standard for a lot of products. Just not the ones you find at Walmart perhaps... Even still, Gold Class is an excellent line that is better than most of the rest. NXT hasn't disappointed much. Their professional line products aren't available at Wally World, but their crap isn't available at paint supply stores either.

I've seen it in a few stores, but I've been too busy 'learning' the NXT system to buy new stuff.

Damn Fuzz, you really don't pull any punches. :brick
