Turtle Wax Buffer for DACP

I am planning on attacking my swirls with some DACP and SFP, but unfortunately I do not own a PC. I usually wax/polish by hand, but I do have a pretty decent Turtle Wax orbital buffer that has never been used.

I am curious to know if this buffer will be sufficient enough for using DACP & SFP.

What pads do you recommend for these two produts? It seems like the foam pads are pretty popular for DACP. What should I used for SFP?

The only thing you'll find for that buffer are terry cloth bonnets. Get a few of them, you'll need them. You can find them at most auto parts stores.

You won't get PC results from it but its better than working by hand. They're really best suited for applying one-step cleaner waxes and the like.

I've been using MF bonnets with my 10" orbital and I must say it's working out pretty good.

No swirls and does a fine job of taking out minor imperfections, that would otherwise take an eternity by hand.

I've been using PI-III Machine polish to great effect with this cheapo orbital. I must admit I did have problems with the terry bonnets, I think the backing is not 100% cotton which in turn caused light scratching on the paints surface. The MF bonnets have cured this problem.

The buffer came with a yellow foam pad, two terry cloth bonnets, a polishing bonnet, and a sheepskin bonnet.
