Well, after I got the carpets done on the car (previous thread), it was time to quickly get the salt & grime off the truck, cuz I was running out of daylight in a hurry.
It had been done up with NXT Tech Wax right before winter, and everything that was on it came off real easy with NXT wash. After the wash, I was gonna QD it to give it a little shine, but then remembered that I had picked up the NXT spray "booster-wax" on sale this winter. So, with daylight quickly fading, I broke out the spray wax and a foam pad and went to it at warp speed.
Wow, does a little of this stuff go a long, long way. About 2 trigger pulls per panel is all it took. Dries fast too if it's put on thin. Just as I started to take it off, my daylight gave up the ghost and went away. :ghost Had to make do as best I could with the meager lighting in the apartment garage. Went to look at it yesterday morning and cringed. Man, did I miss a lot. :bigscream Ran up to the garage and grabbed a clean mf to finish up with, but some of the stuff just would not budge. In the process, I noticed that it must have rained some during the night, as there was some water-spotting and dust on the horizontal surfaces. So out came the PB S&W, and, hey, not only did it clean, it also made easy work of the remaining spray wax that didn't want to come off with a dry mf. So there ya go, a new use for S&W.
Kindly ignore the undressed wheel wells and mudflaps, this wasn't a full detail...
Can't wait to get my clear corners on this thing... Those big amber lenses are just so out of place.
