Hey Guys,

I read a couple of articles on the site and found some products I would like to order. I was hoping you guys had online retail shops you could recommend that specialize in some of these hard to find products. Here us a list of what I want for right now:

PakShak Microfiber Towels

Sheepskin Mitt

Chenille Sponge/Mitt

Scrub Brush for Wheels

Sonus Rim Bright

Klasse All-in-One

Einszett Anti-Insekt

Rubber Protectant

A quality Quick Detailer

Welcome reav,

I tell ya online ordering for detailing products is the only way to go. I cannot even get polishing pads in a town of 50,000, is that sick or what? I highly recommend three retailers above all else: Autopiacarcare, AutoGeek, and Zainobro's, the customer service I have recieved from all three of these is why I feel comfortable ordering online. Also, exceldetail, TOL, Pak, Classicmotoring, are some good high end product shops. In fact most places I have bought from have been great, but there a couple duds that I would never ever buy from, if you order from someone we already recommended don't worry about it but if your considering another, post it first and ask for a refferel. Peace

I've had very good service with Autogeek (bought tons from them), Pakshak, and Properautocare (classicmotoring?). All of those had great products and service. Others often mentioned here include Autopia-carcare, Top of the Line, and Premiumautocare.

i ordered my first set of waffle weave from pakshak. one of them had a rip at the seam. i e-mailed them. and a week later i not only got a replacement but he also threw in a micro fiber towel!!!! now thats what i call service. i will definitly be ordering more from him. i highly recoomend pakshak.

I go all online too. I live in the biggest city in Maine (80,000 population), and the guy at the local bodyshop place only had the edge 2000 kit in wool . The only stuff I can get locally is the Meg's pro line, at less than great prices.

P.S. 90% of my business goes through Top of the Line or the Chemical Guys. Their prices are unbeatable, and the quality is on par with boutique brands. I only use 4 products regularly that don't come from them: Poorboy's S+R wheel cleaner, Poorboy's Natural Look, Pinnacle Souveran (maybe you can get it at TOL, I pay 50/tin from the steering wheel), and Red Moose Machine Glaze.

I've purchased from Excel, Autogeek, Top of the Line, and some others. Can't complain about any of them. I got free shipping from Excel for putting in a large order so Excel is always on the top of my list.

I've oreder from autopia-carcare.com, specialtymotoring.com, wcdetail.com (great WW towel for the $$), exceldetail.com all have been great on-line experinces(sp?).

I've ordered from the Autopia store, Adam's Polishes, Autogeek, SMP, CMA, Top of the Line and Premium Auto Care. I'll be checking out Pakshak as well as Excel Detail shortly, but have heard only good things. I've been happy with all of my online orders.

Here are a couple links:

Better Car Care

Whoa, that's rough. What town do you live in?

Petaluma CA for the next 2 months anyway, then off to San Fransisco were I'm half sure I can find some pads. And to think this is where American Graffitti was filmed and a guy can't even get the stuff he needs to detail his ride.

Excel Detail, PakShak, Autogeek, Detailer's Paradise, Jeff's Werkstatt, Clearkote, and Poorboy's have all done right by me.

Wait, you mean you can still buy detailing products locally???

LOL, I haven't purchased a detailing product locally since I joined Autopia!! Actually, I have......twice, when I was buying Meg's #26 paste wax for .99!

Meg's dealer locator lists six dealers in Petaluma so in theory you could at least order pads for local pickup (no guarantees about pricing though). I'm sure there are some auto paint suppliers that could get LC as well.
