Trouble cleaning Megs MF pads

Hi y'all - long time no post as I have not had much time to do so in the last 3 years (work/life balance was waaayyy off). Anyhow, I have been using my Megs 3" MF pads to correct the pillar plastics but I am not able to get the plastic staining out of the pads. Tried OPC 4:1 and a brush under hot water but still have black stains in the fibers. Not a complete noob, but looking for some pointers on keeping them cleaner.

Personally I wouldn't be too concerned as long as they're clean.
