Tropi-Care Durability Update

Its been about 5 weeks since I did my vehicles with the Tropi-Care polish. Since then, Ive been keeping an eye on both vehicles and wanting to see how the appearance and beading held up. Since we finally got a little rain today, I managed to snap off a photo of my wife's CRV's hood.

Her hood has received no special treatment. It hasnt been QD'd since the initial polish application and has been washed 3-4 times with Tropi-Care car wash and with QEW.

I also had been using my WRX as a longevity test bed as well. Basically when I saw we were guarenteed rain this week, I went out and applied a fresh coat of polish to half the hood so as to compare the beading to the other side.

Unfortunately with it being overcast when I snapped the pictures, you really cant see a lot of detail in the hood to make out the water drops (Thats yellow for you). Im attaching a side shot of the side of the hood with a fresh coat of polish (less than 4 days old) for comparison with the CRV.

The WRX has been QD'd several times since originally applying the polish and has also been washed mutliple times with the Tropi-Care car wash and QEW.

Ive been pretty happy with the durability of the product from both an appearance standpoint and a beading standpoint. Im not going to touch the hood on my wife's CRV and next month I'll revisit it and see how durability is after 2+ months.

** EDIT ** A couple more shots of the WRX

Thats the plan.. Im pretty happy with the condition its in on both cars. I thought my WRX had been washed to death but after doing half the hood fresh and comparing beading, I guess I was wrong.
