Tried something new

I tried something new the last time I washed thought it'd be good to share. I have very hard water in my area and it always leaves water spots. I've recently been using ONR and thought it worked well. However the truck was pretty dirty so I decided to do a regular wash. I mixed about 2 capfulls of ONR with my car wash soap (turtle wax soap) and mixed it in a bucket. I pre washed with a degreaser on the rocker panels, side steps, front bumper, front lights and wheel wells. I then washed with the onr+soap mix and before rinsing I clayed each panel I went over. Then I rinsed the panel and went on the next and so on...

I blew the water out of crevices with a leaf blower, which I've never done before. Long story short, the ONR mixed with soap cut the water spots by a huge margin. There were actually spotless panels that I didn't have to rewet etc... If I did I just sprayed ONR diluted like a quick detailer and it came out amazing.

ONR seems to be a good cheap solution for those of us dealing with hard water even when you use it in conjunction with regular soap.

Now I need to get started with machine polishing...

Cool, glad to hear you found something to improve your detailing experience. Nothing wrong with experimenting that's for sure.
